The Dysport® Difference
If you have pesky facial wrinkles but don’t want that frozen expression that some beauty alternatives give, Dysport® could be an excellent option. The Listening Doctor offers Dysport, an injection that is proven to help smooth the appearance of moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows, all without changing your natural facial expressions. Dysport is different because the untreated muscles are still able to function normally, giving you the freedom to continue expressing feelings naturally.
What is Dysport?
Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription injection for the temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows in adults that are less than 65 years of age. Dysport, also known as botulinum toxin type A, is created by the bacteria that causes botulism.
How Dysport Works
After time skin begins to lose elasticity, and repeated movement and muscle contractions can cause moderate to severe wrinkles between the eyebrows. Dysport is injected into five points between and above the eyebrows, which in turn prevents muscle contractions that cause moderate to severe lines – and all within a 10 to 20-minute treatment.
How Long Dysport Lasts
There’s minimal to no downtime after treatment, meaning you can get back to your daily activities faster. Most patients who use Dysport report improvement in frown lines in just two or three days after their treatment. Dysport has been proven to help improve the look of frown lines between the eyebrows for up to four months.
Common Side Effects of Dysport
